The Annual General Meeting of the UK Branch of the Dharmaraja College Old Boys’ Union was held at the Rising Sun Pub and Restaurant in Harrow on Sunday 12th March 2022 at 4pm.

Mr. Praveen Edirimuni was elected as the President while an expanded twenty-five-member committee was elected to support the busy calendar of events through the year. For the first time in the OBU UK history two Patrons were appointed by the committee. Upul Ekanayake and Dharmaraja colleg's Principal were appointed as Patrons of the OBU UK.

Several proposals to change the constitution were adopted to strengthen the governance process of the organisation through a majority vote. In addition to the general report, an in-depth report of the ‘Shaping Lives’ charity run by the DRCOBU (UK Branch) was presented to members by Mahesh Rathnayaka. The presentation highlighted how the charity has grown in terms of the funds raised as well as the number of children that are benefiting from. After the AGM, members joined for a meal to celebrate the new committee.
